A few Pictures from our Training Rides

Here are a few pictures I took along the way
of the three of us
that have been training for the Tour.

.

On April 15th,        Mike & I participated in the Daffodil Classic Bicycle ride.

There were not too many Sunny days, but we were able to get out a few good sunny day rides as John & I rode across the Narrows Bridge.

 Outside the
Buckley Police Department on one of my 30 mile rides.
.                                                                     And one last training ride through Orting this last Saturday before I boxed up my bike for shipment to the East Coast.

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Foundation

Only 9 days left!
As we get closer to the Police Unity Tour (just a week and a half out) I want to repost this video I made back in November to show others what the Police Unity Tour is and why we are riding for the Sheriff's Dept.  John, Mike and I spent about two hours last night packing up our bicycles into shipping boxes for the FedEx trek to meet us in East Hanover, New Jersey in a week.  Only a short week to go until we fly out.
And as a friendly reminder, this Thursday at McGavick center at Clover Park Tech in Lakewood at 6p.m. (4500 Steilacoom Blvd. SW) we will be having Pierce Counties version of the Law Enforcement Memorial ceremony.
On Friday at the State Capitol in Olympia we will be present for the Washington State Law Enforcement Memorial.  I hope if you are able, to come and attend.

Training Ride & the GoPro camera

I wanted to share with you one of my Training rides from this last Saturday.  I rode the Orting Foothills trail to Puyallup & up Shaw Road on the way back to Orting.
The main reason I'm posting this is to show you what type of video I will be posting on here from the Police Unity Tour ride from May 9th thru the 12th.
So if you have a moment, check out this short 3 minute video.
